The famous football player Yao Ming pledged Wednesday to give up eating Shark’s fin soup. What he did is right and wildlife preservation is really important. We must make a point of the importance of protecting wildlife.
Wildlife is not only our friend but also our teacher. Dolphins lead the way to losing sailors. Bears help people identify who are honest friends. Bees teach us to be hard-working. Wildlife inspires us a lot. They also help us when we are in danger or lose ourselves. Is that correct to hurt our friend or teacher? The answer is absolutely wrong,
We should protect wildlife, as it is also a part of nature. All the creatures on the earth create the harmony. If dying out of species happens quickly, it will affect the whole balance of nature. It will also destroy the food chain. Human being will be affected as well. The world will be short of food if kinds of wildlife extinct. According to some reports, there are at least 500 species of animals and 700 species of plants currently listed as endangered or threatened in the United States. We can imagine, there is how much wildlife at the edge of extinction! What we should do is to protect them as to protect ourselves.
How to protect the wildlife? Can we students do something to them? Yes, we can. The first step of protecting wildlife is not to eat them. Our tongues may have a fantastic feeling when taste them, but the nature will lose its balance little by little. The second step of protecting them is not to scratch them, not to hurt them or to frighten them. Make sure to provide a peaceful place for them to live. We should treat every life equally.
